We finished a basement with plumbing rearrangements, custom bunks, carpeting, flooring, spa like bathroom, fireplace, wet bar, barn doors, lighting, office area, etc. A big project that when completed is exactly as we had envisioned only better.

We loved working with Jim and the boys for our basement remodel project. We were referred to them through our cabinet company to install the bar cabinets and they did such an amazing job we hired them for more work in the basement. We’re very particular about things and they lived up to everything we envisioned with this project. First of all, the bar they built was flawless. As our project moved on we realized that taking on building a wainscoting ourselves was going to be tough so we asked if they could take it on. They built the most beautiful wainscoting and it was wayyyyy faster than we ever could have done. To stay on timeline we also needed help framing the bathroom. They were in and out within half a day and the timeline for other contractors was met perfectly! Our basement is so amazing thanks to them.

During this project, we bought a vacation home and decided to finish the basement of that home as well. Jim and the boys made the 4 hour drive up to Crandon and put knotty pine through the basement. They even brought their ceiling guy with to put a drop ceiling in. Just like our other home, the work was flawless and so beautiful. Such a relief to have met them! We interviewed several contractors for our office/warehouse building renovation and chose KJN Builders for their reputation to complete the project on-time and on budget.

We had several unique challenges and changes during the process and Jim and the team at KJN were still able to meet our functional requirements while satisfying all state and local building code reviews. Our project was completed on time and on budget.

We hired KJN Builders to build our wine cellar. They were the only contractor to listen to what we wanted. We were so impressed with the finished product we hired them again for our screen porch.
